Choose a manageable starting scope

Select a facility and a defined set of procedures with your team. Identify the people responsible for procedure requirements, inventory records and shortage resolution before expanding the workflow.

Bring in the records you can maintain

ClinChek supports manual entry and CSV imports for vendors, supplies and inventory. Use the import templates and validation preview to review rows before submission. Procedure templates and scheduled procedures can be maintained in the app.

CSV imports are not a live connection to an EHR or ERP. An upload represents the records supplied at that time; it does not keep those records automatically synchronized.

Agree on record ownership

Define who updates stock and schedules, when updates happen, and what changes require an immediate recheck. Compare important records to their source and follow your organization's local process for correcting discrepancies.

Evaluate integration separately

If the starting workflow is useful, document the systems, data fields, access permissions and update frequency needed for an integration. ClinChek offers an organization-scoped API, but Epic, Cerner/Oracle Health, Oracle, Workday and Infor connections require separate evaluation; they are not advertised as live, certified connectors.
